Payne Leads Hawks Over Raiders

Hawks Win 3rd State Championship

Congratulations to the Hanover Hawks Baseball Team and Coach Dragum and his staff. The Hawks won their third state championship in four years. The Hawks defeated Liberty Christian, 13-12. Hanover Baseball Mid-Season Review 11-1 record 9-0 in-state record Hanover has scored 117 runs in twelve games so far (9.75 runs a game). Hanover opponents have scored 25 runs in twelve games so far. However, 16 of those runs occurred in a loss to the eventual Forest Acres Classic tournament champion in the spring break

Dabney Named MVP for VHSCA All-Star Game

Congratulations to Alan Dabney for being named MVP of the 2016 Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game. Dabney was the game leading scorer with 24 points. He made four three-point shots as the East defeated the West 97-88.
