Hanover Football: Hawks defeat the Mustangs in OT, 20-19!

On Feb. 26, Friday night lights returned to Hanover as the Hawks hosted the Mechanicsville Mustangs. The cold, rainy conditions were perfect for a defensive battle. Hanover fell behind early in the first quarter and Mechanicsville led 12-6 in the fourth. Hanover’s Cole Elrod scored the only touchdown for Hanover during the first three quarters.

Hanover Wrestling: Halsey Wins State Title!

Congratulations to Aden Halsey and Luke Hart for their performances at the VA Class 4 State Wrestling Tournament. Aden was undefeated for the season and remained undefeated during the tournament to win the state title in the 220lb weight class. Luke won two of three matches to take second in the 150lb weight class. Congratulations

Hanover JV Football: Hawks vs Mustangs

Football returned to Hanover County on Thursday, Feb. 25. The Hanover JV team travelled to Mechanicsville High School for the first game of their season. The Hawks lost in close game, 29-26. Thanks to Tracy Milligan for sharing these great photos from the game.

Hawks Wrestling: Regional Winner and State Qualifiers

  Congratulations to Hanover wrestlers, Aden Halsey and Luke Hart for their performance at the regional tournament. Aden went 3-0 and placed first in the 220 lb. class.
