On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Hanover High Boys Varsity Basketball Team hosted Patrick Henry High School on Senior Night. The game was close throughout, with PH leading by a point at halftime, 27 to 26. Hanover would come back to take a two point lead into the fourth period. With 38 seconds left in the game, Owen DeShazo scored on a Cole Elrod assist to give Hanover a 56-50 lead. Patrick Henry cut the lead to 3, with 8 seconds left in the game.  Senior, Braniel Santos sank a free throw to extend the lead to 4 and the Hawks were able to hold on to win 57-53. The boys team has qualified for the upcoming regional tournament and now waits to find out who their opponent is. Go Hawks and congratulations to the following seniors:
