On Saturday, March 9th, the Hanover track team sent five athletes, one relay team and a pole vaulter, to compete at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Meet in New York City. The athletes who competed were: Joey Badalamenti, Kayvon Bagby, Morgan Crocker, Makenzie Joiner, and Rachel Crytser. These athletes competed exceptionally well with the girl’s sprint medley relay, breaking the school record by nearly 2 seconds and placing 12th in the Emerging Elite Division and Joey Badalamenti with his stellar performance in the pole vault placing 10th in the championship division falling inches short of his own school record. The Hawks now move on to their outdoor track season where they are expecting even greater performances from the team. Congratulations Hawks on a successful season and good luck going into your outdoor season!
