Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Baseball: Hawks Fall Short of Repeat


On Saturday afternoon, the Hanover High varsity baseball team was defeated by Liberty Christian in the 4A State Finals, 8-5. The Hawks gave up eight runs in the first two innings. Liberty Christian was held scoreless for the rest of the game and Hanover would not quit. Cam Grimes had a two-run homer and the Hawks would score the last four runs of the game. Hanover finishes the season 23-3 with a regional championship and the last Conference 20 championship. Many thanks to Hawk seniors, Josh Plummer, Nolan Caler, Brian Sisson, Antonio Balducci  and manager Lexi Martin for their contributions to the Hanover baseball team.
