Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Boys Varsity Lacrosse · Hawks Beat Charlottesville and L-D

The Boys Lacrosse team had busy week, winning back to back games on April 20 and 21. The Hawks crushed Lee-Davis 15-8 this past week. Then the Hawks hit the road and won in a nail biter against Charlottesville High School. The Hawks were ahead at the half 5-3, but by the end of the third quarter it was tied 6-6. Early in the fourth it stayed tied 7-7, until the Hawks pulled ahead with another goal. Thanks to the handiwork of Sophomore Josh Blue and Dillon Carlson, the Hawks extended their lead 10-7 and were able to hold off any more goals thanks to stellar defense and Tyler Cook’s goalie reflexes. The Hawks will host Patrick Henry on Thursday, April 27. Game time is 7:30.
